Mechanical Design Lead - Trichy

We are looking for experienced person to technically lead the design and development of winding machines in our Trichy development centre.

- Role & responsibilities

Conceptualize and create new designs

∙ Provide technical leadership to a team of mechanical design engineers

∙ Participate in design reviews.

∙ Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

∙ Coordination with project teams in Bangalore office

∙ Ensure that all design projects are delivered on-time at required level of quality.

∙ Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

Proven mechanical engineering experience in Special Purpose Machines, Automation

Systems, Machine Tools

∙ Knowledge in selection of motors, gearboxes, drives, couplings

∙ Hands-on experience in usage of mechanical CAD tools such as Fusion360, AutoCAD, CATIA.

Experience in usage of Fusion360 is an advantage

∙ Excellent communication skills

∙ Strong in design calculations

∙ Exposure to Finite Element Analysis

∙ Exposure to winding machine design will be an added advantage
