HR Associate
About this role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized HR Associate to join our team at Zenskar. As an early-stage startup, every day will bring new opportunities and challenges, requiring you to wear multiple hats and make an impact across various functions. Culture & Engagement:
- Drive employee engagement initiatives such as regular pulse checks to understand employee satisfaction and areas for improvement. Plan and execute team-building activities, events, and offsites to foster collaboration and camaraderie.
Recruitment:
- Sourcing candidates through various channels, ensuring we reach top talent efficiently.
- Manage candidate outreach and follow-ups, keeping candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all stakeholders.
HR Operations:
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they have a seamless transition into the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation and records, adhering to compliance and legal standards.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
- Administer health insurance policies, including vendor management, renewals, and claims support.
- Maintain and update employee data in the internal records.
- Design and manage performance evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, including employee benefits, leave, and other essential HR frameworks.
- Driving SOC2, ISO audits and POSH compliance.
Administration:
- Track and organize receipts and expenses for accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the accountant and secretarial team for compliance and bookkeeping needs.
- Oversee asset management, including the procurement and tracking of company equipment.
- Manage and optimize Google Workspace and Slack settings to ensure efficient operations and communication.
Other Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of ad hoc challenges and "fires" that are part of growing an early-stage startup.
Key qualifications:
Experience: Prior 1-3 years of experience in HR, operations, or a similar role in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and HR management systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Attributes:
- High level of empathy and understanding of employee needs.
- Adaptability to manage the demands of a dynamic startup environment.
- Passion for creating a thriving workplace culture.
- It's great if you are in Bangalore and open to visiting office sometimes.
- Self driven individual with high ownership and strong work ethic.
