Senior Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
• Works on Completing all phases of Software engineering design projects
• Works on analysis of processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
• Analyses results and recommends solutions
• Works on developing expected results on a variety of products
• Develops documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
• Works with latest technologies and new approaches
• Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or test
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments

Preferred candidate profile

• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Must be flexible and able to "think creatively".
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development.
• Ability to implement and follow programming standards.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and adherence to the same.
• Must be able to work as a member of a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments locally and internationally.

Technical Capabilities

• 4+ years hands on experience in the following technology stack
• Front end:
• Must have actual development experience of:
• AngularJS
• HTML, CSS
• Object Oriented Javascript
• Nice to have experience of:
• Bootstrap
• SCSS
• React Typescript
• Back end:
• Must have actual development experience of:
• Java 8+
• Spring Framework
• Spring MVC
• Rest APIs 
• Medium to Complex SQL Queries (DB2 exposure preferred)
• myBatis
• Nice to have experience of:
• Linux commands
• Webservers and App servers esp. IBM WebSphere Liberty Profile
• Knowledge of open source Java libraries and frameworks (from Google, Apache etc.)
• Other:
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub, Jira
• Eclipse
