Key Responsibilities
1. Business Expansion & Market Strategy
- Develop and execute a robust international business strategy aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in global markets, including partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A prospects.
- Conduct market research to assess customer needs, competitor strategies, and regional economic trends.
- Define market entry and expansion plans with a focus on revenue generation and brand positioning.
2. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Set aggressive sales targets and develop comprehensive strategies to achieve business growth in international markets.
- Establish strong relationships with distributors, partners, and key clients to drive sales and ensure market penetration.
- Oversee the pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies for different regions.
- Monitor financial performance, optimize profitability, and ensure sustainable revenue streams.
3. Global Operations & Compliance
- Ensure seamless international business operations, including logistics, supply chain management, and legal compliance.
- Navigate international trade laws, tariffs, and customs regulations to maintain smooth business transactions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational efficiency with international business requirements.
4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build and lead a high-performing international business team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, finance, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure cohesive execution of international strategies.
- Engage with external partners such as government bodies, trade associations, and regulatory agencies.
5. Brand Building & Customer Engagement
- Enhance brand visibility in international markets through strategic marketing and public relations initiatives.
- Develop customer engagement strategies to strengthen brand loyalty and customer retention.
- Adapt product offerings and services to align with local preferences and market dynamics.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- MBA or equivalent in International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7-12+ years of experience in international business expansion, sales, or strategic management.
- Strong understanding of global trade policies, foreign exchange regulations, and regional economic conditions.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth, manage P&L, and build successful global teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments and manage business complexities in global markets.
