Role Summary:

- The "Head of Fleet Reliability and Maintenance Operations" will be responsible to maximize the life of our vehicles and ensure their highest possible uptime by continuous improvement in the product, overseeing all repair and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and operational efficiency.

- This role involves the development and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and manage R&M as a separate cost center, ensuring efficient budgeting and financial tracking, drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality and operational efficiency.

- Design smart system for preventive vehicle maintenance using data available at the bike level.

- Optimize R&M activities to enhance customer experience by increasing the availability of well-maintained and usable bikes.

- Design system and processes to optimize the inventory of spare parts.

- Inventory and Resource Management, ensure the availability of critical spare parts by developing effective inventory management systems that minimize excess inventory while preventing disruptions in operations due to part shortages.

- Increase life of individual components as well as overall vehicle by working closely internally as well as external suppliers.

- Process Standardization for operational elements of R&M and vehicles uptime.

- Ensure smooth R&M operations across different geographic locations, tailoring maintenance activities based on the specific needs of each warehouse or centre.

- Establish processes to enhance workflow efficiency, focusing on time and resource optimization.

- Use data to identify areas for improvement, maintain dashboard to track key metrics, and formulate plans for productivity enhancements.

Key Requirements:

- 8-10 years of experience in vehicle R&D, validation, and post sales service network within some reputed 2W automobile manufacturing company.

- A proactive, execution-oriented individual who can execute using insights and influence as peer.

- Ability to make decisions using data, market research, customer feedback and sometime just heuristic.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in EV will be an added advantage.
