About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager – Civil Works to join our dynamic team in Suriname. 

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex civil construction projects efficiently. 

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our civil works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with required standards.
Lead teams working on bridge, piling, and concrete construction projects.
Plan and schedule construction tasks for efficient execution.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality control, and project timelines.
Review project drawings and plans for accuracy and feasibility.
Perform material takeoffs and manage project registrations.
Assist in creating working drawings and cost estimates.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project operations.
Maintain effective communication with teams, clients, and partners.

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing civil works projects.
Preferably experienced in piling and jetty construction.
Strong background in planning, execution, and supervision of construction projects.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in AutoCAD and experience with 3D drawing software (e.g., SketchUp).
Ability to perform material takeoffs and develop accurate project estimates.
Experience with project registrations, tenders, and documentation.
