Senior Business/Data Analyst (5-7 yrs)

Role Description :

As a Senior Business Data Analyst at Yoda Tech, you will be a critical bridge between business needs and data-driven solutions. You will utilize your deep understanding of data analysis, business processes, and SQL to provide valuable insights and support strategic initiatives. Your expertise in Snowflake and data visualization tools will be essential for delivering timely and accurate information to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct in-depth data investigations and analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable data analyses.

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance.

- Provide strategic recommendations based on data insights to drive business decisions.

- Utilize Snowflake to extract, transform, and load data for analysis.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data within Snowflake.

- Ensure data quality and consistency within the Snowflake environment.

- Join different data sources together within Snowflake.

- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (Thoughtspot, Tableau) to communicate data insights effectively.

- Design and implement automated reporting solutions to provide timely and accurate data to stakeholders.

- Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards.

- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

- Quickly learn and adapt to new business domains.

- Conduct requirements elicitation and management.

- Facilitate workshops and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Analyze and design business processes to optimize data workflows.

- Understand and document data lifecycles and metadata.

- Provide support for data-related business process questions.

- Develop and maintain data models to support analytical needs.

- Utilize Jupyter Notebooks and Python for data analysis and scripting tasks (to some extent).

- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Present technical details to non-technical audiences.

- Work effectively within EMEA time zones.

Fluent in English.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Data Analysis.

- Experience working with large and complex datasets.

- Expert proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.

- Experience with data visualization tools (Thoughtspot, Tableau).

- Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks and Python (to some extent).

- Experience with Snowflake.
