Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru. This role will be instrumental in translating business needs into actionable data-driven insights.

You will work closely with business teams, supporting data-driven decision-making through ongoing analysis, ad-hoc reporting, trend identification, automation framework development, and, where necessary, the creation of machine learning models.

This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities :

- Business Analysis : Conduct thorough business analysis to understand client needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate those needs into actionable data-driven solutions.

- Requirements Gathering : Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and completeness.

- Data Analysis & Interpretation : Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL, Advanced Excel, Python/R, and statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

- Perform A/B testing and other statistical analyses.

- Data Wrangling & Automation : Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis.

- Develop and implement automated data processes using Python/R to improve efficiency and scalability.

- Data Visualization & Reporting : Create compelling data visualizations and reports using Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data quality and accuracy.

- Project Ownership : Take ownership of assigned projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

- Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data analytics, AI, and machine learning.

- Proactively seek opportunities to expand your skillset and knowledge.

- Ad-hoc Analysis : Respond to ad-hoc requests for data analysis and insights from business stakeholders.

- Model Development (As Needed) : Contribute to the development of machine learning models when required, working closely with data scientists.

Qualifications :

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics.

Technical Skills :

- Essential : Strong SQL skills are a MUST.

- Essential : Advanced Excel proficiency.

- Essential : Experience in data wrangling and automation using Python or R.

- Essential : Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).

- Essential : Solid understanding of statistical techniques for data analysis, including A/B testing.

- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Adaptability : Ability to quickly onboard onto new projects, understand analytical goals, and work with ill-defined datasets.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Initiative : Eagerness to learn and ability to work with limited supervision.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in a related field
