Data Warehouse Trainee

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Data Warehouse Trainee to join our dynamic team. The trainee will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouse systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting analytics and reporting functions. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of data warehouse solutions.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to manage data flow between systems.
• Optimize and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Collaborate with senior team members to gather requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Monitor data warehouse performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation and automation.
• Support data integration projects and ensure timely data delivery.

Required Skills:

• Programming: Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Database Management: Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying, updates, and management.
• Data Warehousing: Basic understanding of data warehouse concepts, including dimensional modeling, ETL processes, and data storage principles.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and troubleshoot data issues effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
