Job Description
- Exp: 2 to 4 yearsRequirement
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform thorough manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, report, and track defects in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues that may not be covered by test cases.
- Ensure that all test cases are executed and defects are properly documented.
- Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvements in the product s functionality, usability, and performance.
- Participate in team meetings, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning, to stay aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other testers, to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of test environments to replicate real-world conditions.
- Continuously improve manual testing processes by suggesting enhancements and best practice
- 3-4 years of experience in manual software testing, ideally in a product-based IT company.
- Strong knowledge of testing types (functional, regression, integration, user acceptance).
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Ability to write and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to report issues clearly and effectively.
- Experience in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of basic software development concepts and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in software testing.
- Must have excellent analytical skills, presentations skills and communication skills.
- Must have consistently good academic recordsand consistency in educational/work background.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience workingon HRMS, Accounting or ERP or B2B/B2C or Travel domain projects and having Relevant Technology Certifications.
