Technical Application Architect

Job Description Sr. Technical Application Architect:

Responsibilities:-

• Design, develop, and manage new features and functionality for applications - across multiple business units, platforms, and technologies
• Lead a team of Architect / Junior architect
• Understand and Translate business requirements into system solution design and design patterns that enables quality, re-usability, scalability, availability, and maintainability in accordance with the overall Business requirement
• Build new product/ solution architecture for modernization and digital transformation initiatives and ensure it adopts new technology stack with alignment to overall bank technology architecture frameworks and standards.
• Provide oversight on the detailed design (domain-driven, bounded context, at granularity of microservices) by squads and development team
• Establish Technology standards, design patterns, languages, and frameworks for new technology stack
• Work closely with solutioning and development team to identify best-fit architectural solutions that involve changes to Digital and non-Digital applications.
• Lead and introduce the overall technical vision and high-level design for a particular solution, finding the best tech solutions to solve existing business problems.
• Work with Product Manager closely in evaluating various upcoming technologies, prototyping, and eventually helping draw conclusion on their applicability to our landscape.
• Collaborate with other profession to determine functional and non-functional requirement for new software or application
• Will participate in architecture governance forums, ensuring that all architecture activities and deliverables (in-house and outsourced) are produced to a high quality and are consistent with existing Bank standards, policies, and strategies.
• Guide developers to develop code as per design standard and ensure architectural principles and leading practices are adhered by developers
• Ensure solutions are integrated with existing bank applications through APIs and other integrations mechanism

Desired Skills:-

• 15+ years of total experience in Software development with 8+ proven experience as Architect
• Experience of creating architecture solution visions and high-level solution designs.
• Experience in Software development and coding in various Programming language – Java , React , Node JS, Microservice, Middleware technologies , Mobile Application Platform
• Knowledge in Modelling Methods and other Architecting principles
• Experience in designing complex and scalable application for Banking and finance domain
• Should have worked closely on critical non-functional requirement – Scalability , Performance , High Availability , Fault tolerant system
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies; CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps etc.
• Familiarity with the following Technology stack Spring Boot, Spring Boot Sync/Async, , Enterprise OpenShift, Prometheus/Grafana, Data Grid, DBMS, No SQL DB, Kafka, Angular JS
• Experience in building cloud native application
• Experience in one of more banking application preferred like Payment , Open Banking , Mobile Banking , Retail or Asset Related Application
• Familiarity with Development tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Nexus, Jenkins, Kibana, Grafana
