Digital Marketing Executive (Content & AI) (Freelance)

Overview:
We are launching a finance-focused content channel aiming to reach start-ups and SMEs in London. Our content highlights:

• Financial software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• AI tools for workflow optimization
• Automation in finance and accounting

We are looking for a versatile digital marketer who can maintain our website, create engaging short-form videos, leverage AI-powered copywriting tools, and manage our social media presence (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat). If you are creative, tech-savvy, and excited about using AI in content creation, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities

1. Website Maintenance
• Update and optimize web pages for SEO (search engine optimization).
• Ensure smooth user experience, functional design, and consistent brand messaging.
• Collaborate with web developers (if needed) to implement new features or troubleshooting.
2. AI-Assisted Content Creation
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copy.ai, Bard) for brainstorming content ideas, drafting scripts, and refining copy.
• Write clear, engaging captions, articles, and marketing copy tailored for finance and automation niches.
3. Social Media Management
• Develop and manage a content calendar for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
• Post regular short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, Snaps) and engage with comments, DMs, and community feedback.
• Track engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, watch time) to optimize future content.
4. Short-Form Video Editing
• Film or curate existing footage (where possible) and edit using tools like CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Add captions, transitions, and branding elements in line with the finance channels style.
• Stay updated on short-form video trends, audio tracks, and popular hashtags.
5. Content Strategy & Analytics
• Research trending topics in finance, AI, and start-up growth to create relevant, timely content.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Report on key KPIs weekly or monthly, proposing improvements based on data.
6. Collaboration & Communication
• Coordinate with the London-based founder/manager for approvals, brand guidelines, and scheduling.
• Liaise with potential software partners (Xero, QuickBooks, AI tool providers) for possible collaborations or sponsored content.
• Communicate effectively across time zones, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
7. Content Creation & Copywriting
• Strong English writing skills, with a knack for creating engaging hooks and clear explanations.
• Comfort with AI-generated content and the ability to refine it for brand consistency.
8. Social Media Know-How
• Hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram (Reels), YouTube (Shorts), and Snapchat.
• Familiarity with posting best practices, hashtag research, and platform-specific optimization.
9. Video Editing
• Proficiency in at least one short-form editing tool (CapCut, InShot) or basic-level Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to deliver short videos with compelling storytelling, transitions, and on-screen text.
10. Website Management
• Basic understanding of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar) for content updates.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
11. Analytics & Reporting
• Comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, and YouTube Studio.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and improve content strategy accordingly.
12. Organization & Time Management
• Capable of juggling multiple platforms and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Notion.
13. Communication & Collaboration
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with a London-based team.
• Open to feedback and quick to adapt to new strategies or changing priorities.

• 13 years in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation.
• Previous experience with finance, start-up, or tech-related content is highly advantageous.
• Exposure to affiliate marketing and sponsored content is a plus.

Compensation

• Monthly Salary: Approximately INR 30,000 50,000 (depending on experience and skill set).
