Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile UI (10-14 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead a talented engineering team & build the platform for agriculture insurance and work closely with Product Owners, and UX specialists to deliver experiences that delight our customers

- Design, develop, and maintain responsive mobile apps with elegant UX that delight our users and raise their productivity.

- Provide technical leadership to other mobile and web development engineers.

- Help level up the team; share knowledge, conduct code and design review; drive code quality and process improvement initiatives.

- Write clean and well-abstracted code that you are proud of, with extensibility and performance in mind.

- Work in cross functional teams with product managers, UX designers and QA engineers to ship quality software on-time

- Collaborate with product management, leadership, research and other teams to create the technical vision, and road map for the team.

- Mentor people, help them grow, and develop their careers

Experience :

- Proven track record of building and shipping high-quality UI applications with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

- Experience in developing hybrid mobile apps or native Android apps, with a proven track record of successful delivery of software products.

- Technical skills include using Hands-on Development using HTML/Javascript/Typescript to develop scalable and distributed mobile/web applications

- Demonstrable experience of Mobile First development practices and solid understanding of Responsive Design principles.

- Good-to-have experience : Services and event-driven paradigm, layout optimization.

- Detailed real-world experience with Scrum or similar agile methodologies

- Cares deeply about UX and has an intuitive feel for good design.

- At least 2 years of experience managing high-output engineering teams with 4+ members.

- Experience in Flutter, Angular, ReactJS, React Native is a plus
