Essential Job Functions
Collaborate as part of an Agile development team.
Drive technical designs to support business objectives.
Independently analyze existing implementations.
Take initiative to understand the current architecture, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes with minimal oversight.
Maintain a high-quality software mindset, ensuring effective code functionality and suggesting improvements as needed.
Build efficient middleware interfaces with reasonable SLAs.
Prepare technical documentation.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Mandatory Skills:
API First approach is essential.
Strong background in Spring Boot development.
5-7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
Proficient in Java development with practical experience.
Experience in consuming and defining REST services.
Familiarity with unit test frameworks.
Ability to deliver solutions based on business requirements.
Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work with global teams and adapt to a flexible work schedule.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and REST APIs.
Proficiency in databases and SQL.
Familiarity with Elastic/Solr Search.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric focus.
Experience with third-party libraries.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Microservices, Event-Oriented Architectures, and Distributed Systems.
Familiarity with cloud environments (Amazon Web Services).
Experience with product-oriented engineering development is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred).
Understanding of DevOps practices/principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and the product development lifecycle.
