Job Description
Role: Senior Java Developer /SRE
Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA
Job Overview:
Weare seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer withexpertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)practices. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of development experienceand a strong background in building scalable, high-performance Javaapplications in a microservices architecture. Additionally, the candidate willbe responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance ofthe applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with various data sources and third-party services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring high code quality and adherence to industry best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Build and maintain distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Manage service communication, integration patterns, and service orchestration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to service interactions and dependencies.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure and operations teams to implement SRE best practices.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and systems.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive incident detection and resolution.
- Automate and optimize deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
- Participate in post-mortem analyses and drive continuous improvements in incident response and system performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, etc.) to deliver high-quality software.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and share knowledge on best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Utilize profiling tools and metrics to ensure optimal application performance.
- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and fault-tolerant systems.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Bacheloror Masterdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related Java technologies.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Proficiency in implementing SRE best practices, including monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and other related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of Databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Bacheloror Masterdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
