Job Description
- Prototyping and Product Design: Lead the creation of customer centricn prototypes for new packaging products with a focus on molded, Beverage and aseptic solutions, ensuring they meet the needs for lightweight, leak-proof, and durable packaging, particularly for protective food service packaging and dairy products .
- Regenerative Packaging Development: Innovate in the development of sustainable and regenerative packaging materials that are eco-friendly, lightweight, and functional for food service and aseptic packaging needs
- Material and Coating Development: Utilize expertise in materials science, coatings, and natural products to develop advanced food service packaging materials at scale that meet stringent performance and safety standards for food products.
- Forming Technologies: Leverage various forming technologies for molded packaging, with a strong focus on commercial demonstration and customer-driven innovations
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand their specific needs and preferences in packaging design, ensuring the development of products that deliver value and align with market demands.
- Commercial Demonstration: Present and demonstrate new products to clients and stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on commercialization of Sustainable fiber and biomaterial based Molded Rigid solutions .
- Smart Packaging Integration: Implement bio-based labeling solutions and other smart packaging technologies to enhance the usability and traceability of products.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D teams, production, marketing and finance , to ensure seamless integration of new products into the companyportfolio and successful launch into the market.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Doctorate/MasterDegree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Natural Products, Printing, Coatings, or related fields .
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-centric product design and development , especially on fibre-based wet moulded products.
- Hands-on experience in forming technologies , with a focus on molded packaging.
- Proven ability in commercial demonstration of product designs at scale.
