Qualifications:
PhD in Chemical /Mechanical /Pulp & Paper Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Pulp andPaper Engineering, or a related field with a focus on sustainable technologydesign and scale-up.
Minimum of 7 yearsof experience in process engineering, with a focus on scaling up technologiesand integrating environmentally friendly processes.
Proven experiencein process simulation, energy integration, and sustainable process design.
Expertise insurface treatments, structural development, and coatings, with an ability toscale up from pilot to full-scale manufacturing.
Deep understandingof environmentally conscious design principles, with a focus on reducingcarbon, water, and pollutant footprints.
Strong knowledge ofprocess modelling and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB, CAD) forenergy optimization and system design.
Excellent projectmanagement skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams to achieveprocess engineering and integration goals.
Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills, with an ability to innovate and optimize processesfor sustainability and efficiency.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in pulpand paper industries, or related sectors with a focus on sustainability.
Familiarity withregulatory standards and sustainability certifications related to carbonemissions, water usage, and environmental impact.
Experience withlife cycle analysis (LCA) and environmental impact assessments for chemicalprocesses.
