Job Description:
Payroll Management and Administration:
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of compensation changes to employees and stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring compliance with taxation, statutory deductions, and organizational policies
- Review and validates inputs from systems like Zing HR and Success Factors to ensure payroll accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships for payroll-related tasks, including statutory compliance filings such as ESIC and PF
- Audit payroll data, including income tax projections and pay registers, for accuracy and compliance
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, including minimum wage updates, the Shops and
- Establishment Act, and other relevant regulations
- Maintain and update statutory records and compliance registers in collaboration with vendors and consultants
- Address compliance-related challenges, particularly in areas like employee transfers, incentives taxation, and relocation allowances
- Facilitate periodic audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational policies
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits, including group insurance, medical insurance, and related queries
- Ensure timely processing of benefits and alignment with corporate standards
- Monitor market trends to propose and implement new benefit structures
Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving:
- Identify system-level challenges in manual processes and implements improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Drive automation efforts to reduce dependency on manual processes and ensure timely task completion
- Anticipate operational risks and implements strategies to mitigate potential issues, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with HRBPs, finance teams, operations, and sales support teams to ensure seamless execution of compensation and compliance activities
- Provide advice and insights to senior leadership on compensation-related matters and compliance risks
- Manage cross-departmental collaboration for reimbursements, compliance tracking, and statutory filings
CANDIDATE PROFILE & DESIRED SKILL SETS:
- Experience in payroll management with hands-on experience in audit and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Preferred experience working with HGS (Payroll partner)
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, self-driven, multi-tasking, and good interpersonal skills ensuring a non-compliance attitude.
