Devops Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS) 6+ years of experience

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and AWS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, automation, security practices, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using AWS CLI, Terraform, and Helm/Helmfile to streamline deployment and operations.
• Ensure the security of Kubernetes and AWS environments by implementing best practices and leveraging native security features.
• Configure and maintain networking components in AWS and Kubernetes environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Argo-CD for efficient application deployment and delivery.
• Participate in infrastructure architecture discussions and provide recommendations for optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Continuously improve processes and workflows through automation and documentation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in our infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and management.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly EKS, and a deep understanding of AWS security features.
• Strong command-line skills with AWS CLI and proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices and implementation of security measures.
• Familiarity with networking concepts in both AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience setting up monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with deployment automation tools like Helm/Helmfile and Argo-CD.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience with additional monitoring tools such as Datadog or ELK stack.
• Proficiency in documentation tools like Asciidoc/Markdown and PlantUML for creating clear and concise technical documentation.
• Bash shell scripting skills for automation and scripting tasks.
