Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure using Terraform for managing infrastructure as code (IaC), with a focus on AWS environments.
• Container Orchestration: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage, and security components.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD for continuous integration, blue-green, and canary deployments to ensure smooth application releases.
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize AWS services like EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM to manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages for system monitoring, maintenance, and provisioning.
• Deployment Strategies: Implement and manage blue-green and canary deployments to ensure zero downtime during application upgrades and releases.
• Networking: Configure and manage networking setups, such as VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and security groups, ensuring efficient and secure network architecture.
• Monitoring & Logging: Setup monitoring tools to track application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability and scalability of the system.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide infrastructure solutions that ensure successful deployments and operations.
• Code Review & Best Practices: Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security in infrastructure configurations and scripts. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and DevOps engineers.
• Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security, including permissions management, security group setups, and monitoring of unusual activity.

Required Skills:

• Kubernetes: Deep understanding of container orchestration and management, including experience with networking and scaling in a Kubernetes environment.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.), and knowledge of cloud security practices.
• Bash Scripting: Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
• Terraform: Experience in Terraform for infrastructure automation and management.
• ArgoCD: Strong experience with ArgoCD or similar CI/CD tools for continuous deployment and application delivery.
• Blue-Green / Canary Deployments: In-depth knowledge of deployment strategies like blue-green and canary, ensuring zero downtime and minimal risk during releases.
• Networking Basics: Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPCs, and subnets.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior team members
