Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS Cloud. Ensure high availability and performance of cloud-based systems.
- Kubernetes Administration : Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS or AKS), implementing best practices for cluster management, scaling, and monitoring.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform to enable scalable, consistent, and repeatable provisioning of cloud resources.
- CI/CD Pipelines : Develop and maintain GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows across various environments.
- Observability & Monitoring : Implement and utilize observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to monitor system health, performance, and log aggregation, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues.
- Scripting & Automation : Create and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Go to streamline system operations, deployments, and incident response.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth deployment processes, continuous integration, and effective incident management.
- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain a seamless user experience and uptime.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and other core services.
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters using EKS or AKS.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Extensive experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for automating workflows and managing source code repositories.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar tools to monitor and log system performance.
- Solid scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go for automation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and collaboration tools in a DevOps environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and microservices.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools.
