Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

1. AWS Cloud Management :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructures.

- Configure and maintain AWS networking components such as virtual private clouds (VPCs), peering connections, firewall rules, private endpoints, and DNS configurations.

2. Security and DevSecOps :

- Integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle to safeguard applications and infrastructure.

- Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and other security controls to ensure secure resource access.

- Maintain compliance with AWS security and governance standards.

3. Governance :

- Implement and manage AWS policies at scale using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Enforce AWS policy assignments, including managing exceptions and exemptions.

4. AWS Well-Architected Framework :

- Apply principles and best practices from the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and secure architectures.

- Leverage AWS architectural patterns for high availability and performance.

5. CI/CD Pipelines and IaC :

- Manage repositories in Git, including merges, pull requests, and resolving conflicts.

- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) primarily using Terraform, ensuring adherence to best practices.

- Debug, test, and refactor Terraform scripts for efficient deployment.

6. Automation and Scripting : Create scripts and automation tools to streamline operations and improve system efficiency.

7. Monitoring and ITSM Integration :

- Set up monitoring and alerting systems using AWS services such as AWS CloudTrail and CloudWatch.

- Integrate AWS environments with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools to enhance incident and problem management workflows.

8. Scripting and Development : Write scripts and tools using Python to automate and enhance cloud operations.

Qualifications and Skills :

Required :

- Experience : 3-5 years of experience in AWS cloud services, DevOps/DevSecOps, and IT operations.

- AWS Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of core AWS services, including networking, compute, storage, and security.

- IaC Expertise : Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

- CI/CD Tools : Proficiency in GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tools.

- Scripting : Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.

- Problem Solving : Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex cloud environments.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

- Preferred Certifications : AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate AWS Certified Developer - Associate AWS Certified Security - Specialty Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
