Job Summary:
The Contract Analyst and Data Hygiene Specialist is a contract position reviewing, analyzing, and managing contracts for the cross-functional data hygiene project between Comm Ops and Legal. This role involves identifying and resolving data discrepancies, cleaning and updating databases, and working cross-functionally to ensure data is correct and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
Review all commercial terms within our Master Service Agreements and Amendments to make sure metadata, terms and all relevant data is updated within relevant systems..
Contract Analysis Data Hygiene and Management:
Contract Review and Management: Review and analyze all versions of contracts for terms,
conditions for accuracy.
Data Extraction and Reporting: Extract and analyze key contract data to tag and categorize (e.g., financial terms, milestones).
Data Quality Assurance: Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within databases, contract management systems, and spreadsheets.
Data Cleansing: Identify, correct, and eliminate data errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates to ensure high-quality data for reporting and analysis.
Database Management: Ensure data related to contracts (e.g., contract metadata, financial data)is accurately stored and easily accessible.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaboration with Comm Ops and Legal Ops: Work closely with legal and commercial ops toensure that contracts are properly managed and that all required data is captured and tracked inadjoining systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, Data Science, Information Management, or related field.
Skills and Experience:
Contract literacy (ability to comprehend and analyze contracts and understand the legal
implications and obligations for the parties involved)
Strong technical skills: Ability to work with a variety of software applications (e.g., Salesforce, Ironclad, DocuSign, Slack, Salesforce Cases, Google docs, etc.)
Detail oriented: meticulous and strong organizational skill
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations and take initiative where appropriate
Analytical thinker: (must have the ability to process and understand complex information and make logical assumptions based on the information provided)
Professional: Must be comfortable with management of highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity
Contract Management: Experience in reviewing, analyzing, or managing contracts (legal
background is a plus).
Data Management: Strong experience in data management, database administration, and data integrity assurance.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail for both contract analysis and ensuring data
cleanliness.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data sets and identify discrepancies or patterns.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), contract management software, and CRM or ERP systems.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with
commercial and legal op.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CLM and CRM systems (e.g., Ironclad, Salesforce).
Familiarity with data governance, data protection
Experience working with large datasets
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
