Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot Framework (10-30 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Back-end Developer with a strong technical background in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS for an Individual Contributor (IC) role. The position is initially a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity, with a work location in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. You will be responsible for developing scalable back-end systems, designing microservices, and leveraging AWS cloud services to deliver high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain back-end applications using Java and J2EE frameworks.

- Build microservices using Spring Boot to support distributed systems and ensure scalability.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services to support front-end applications and external services.

- Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) to design and deploy cloud-based solutions.

- Collaborate with the front-end development team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.

- Optimize the performance and scalability of applications by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

- Write clean, maintainable code, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality.

- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and post-production support.

Required Experience & Technical Stack :

- 10+ years of experience as a Java Back-end Developer.

- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS.

- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and handling large-scale systems.

- Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL alternatives.

- Knowledge of multi-threading, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile environments.

- Experience with DevOps processes and tools for continuous integration and delivery.
