Xeno - Senior Full Stack Engineer - React.js/TypeScript (4-7 yrs)

Position : Senior Fullstack Engineer (Frontend focussed).

Experience Required : 4-7 years

Location : Gurgaon/Delhi (Work from office twice a week).

About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to reimagine Xeno's frontend, creating a robust and scalable codebase. This individual will be responsible for setting up scaffolding, best practices, and integrating modern UX/UI components with a performance-first mindset. Additionally, they will play a critical role in integrating product usage monitoring tools to drive data-informed UX improvements and have a strong understanding of backend systems to lead projects end-to-end. This role is ideal for a highly skilled individual contributor with the potential to evolve into an Architect/Principal Engineer or team lead as the organization scales.

What You'll Do :

1). Rearchitect the frontend codebase with best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.

2). Establish scaffolding and design patterns to create a foundation for all future frontend projects.

3). Collaborate with product designers to revamp UI/UX, leveraging modern, reusable design systems and components.

4). Integrate product usage tools (e.g., Amplitude, FullStory, Hotjar). to monitor and improve user experience based on data insights.

5). Optimize for frontend performance, ensuring applications are fast, responsive, and efficient.

6). Collaborate with backend engineers to lead end-to-end projects, understanding and influencing API and system design.

7). Mentor and guide junior developers or interns, setting high standards for frontend engineering excellence.

1). Frontend Framework : React.js (mandatory)., 3-5

2). State Management : Redux, Context API, Zustand

3). Styling : TailwindCSS, Emotion, Styled Components

4). Build Tools : Webpack, Vite, Babel

5). Testing : Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library

6). Performance Optimization : Code splitting, lazy loading, reducing bundle size, optimizing Web Vitals

7). Product Usage Tools : Amplitude, FullStory, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or similar

8). Backend Knowledge : Java, Typescript, Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, GraphQL

9). Version Control & CI/CD : Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins

10). Other Tools : Storybook, ESLint, Prettier

1). Technical Expertise :

- Advanced proficiency with React.js and building scalable, high-performance applications.

- Strong experience in building reusable UI components and design systems using React and modern CSS frameworks.

- Expertise in integrating product usage monitoring tools like Amplitude, FullStory, or Hotjar to improve user experience.

- Deep knowledge of frontend optimization techniques to ensure applications are fast and efficient.

- Sufficient understanding of backend systems (Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs). to lead end-to-end projects and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend.

- Strong debugging and testing skills, ensuring robustness and reliability.

2). Leadership and Work Ethic :

- Proven experience mentoring or leading junior developers or interns.

- A strong individual contributor (IC). with the ability to define architectural direction while being hands-on.
