Business Head, Academic Alliance & Enterprise Skilling
Location: Gurgaon

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader to head our Academic Alliance & Enterprise Skilling division. This role requires expertise in fostering partnerships with colleges and universities, as well as experience in scaling enterprise training services across India. The Business Head will play a crucial role in expanding our network of academic partnerships, promoting industry-aligned training programs, and driving revenue growth within the college and enterprise training sectors. This role will also involve managing a team of 25+ professionals across sales, program management, operations, and regional sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Alliance Program:
- Strategic Partnerships: Expand our Academic Alliance program by establishing partnerships with leading universities and colleges in India and internationally, aiming to sign 20 new academic partners annually and double revenue growth year on year.
- Program Design & Execution: Collaborate with academic institutions to create and deliver tech-focused specialization courses aligned with industry demands, enhancing graduate employability.
- Curriculum & Pedagogy: Work closely with academic teams to innovate curriculum and teaching methodologies, enhancing the overall learning experience.
- Student Enrolment Growth: Partner with university admissions and marketing teams to attract prospective students and increase enrollment in specialized programs.
- Brand Representation:
- Represent the company on industry forums to establish our position as a leader in building industry-ready talent.
Revenue and Profitability:
Revenue Generation:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive top-line growth and create new revenue streams in the
Colleges/Institutions and Enterprise Training Services business.
- Financial Targets: Achieve annual revenue realization and EBIDTA growth of over 20%, ensuring all business activities are aligned with financial objectives.
- Cost Optimization: Streamline operational efficiencies and manage costs to maximize profitability.
Team Leadership:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 25+ professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous development of skills and competencies.
- Performance Management: Implement effective performance management systems to support team and individual success.
- Business Growth and Strategy:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business plans that drive growth and strengthen our market presence.
- Innovation: Use industry insights and customer feedback to continuously improve and adapt training programs.
- Process Optimization: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness across all business processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 18-20 years, with at least 12-14 years of experience in the Higher Education/College market in India, along with an understanding of IT and technical training services for enterprises.
- Proven success in managing education and training services across India.
- Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Indian education market with a wide network among college/university decision-makers. International experience in markets like the Middle East, Australia, or Singapore is a plus.
- Academic Partnerships: Experience in developing and managing successful academic alliances.
- Revenue Growth: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Leadership Skills: Proven team management experience, with a background in leading teams of 25+ members.
- Analytical Abilities: Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field, preferably from a Tier 1 institution.
- Work Environment: Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
