[x]cube LABS - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing (4-6 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Understand requirements and contribute to project development activities.

- Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products.

- Design and develop technical solutions for enterprise-level projects.

- Build and deliver prototypes of solutions for complex problems.

- The candidate should have a strong background in manual and automated testing with the below criteria.

- Ability to understand business and technical requirements

- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, acceptance criteria, and test cases.

- Experience with test automation and integrating test cases into CI/CD pipelines.

- Collaborate with stakeholders (product managers, developers, and other team members) to understand business and technical requirements.

- Define clear acceptance criteria for all features and enhancements.

- Test Planning & Case Creation: Develop detailed test plans and strategies for manual and automated testing.

Automation & Scripting : Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Mocha, and JavaScript.

API Automation Testing : Conduct API testing using Postman and automated API scripts.

Defect Triage : Track, prioritize, and triage defects in JIRA or equivalent tools.

Collaboration & Communication : Effectively communicate test results, defects, and risks to all stakeholders. Participate and work in Agile environment.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills : Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Selenium, Mocha, Chai, Postman, and JIRA.

Test Management : Hands-on experience with TestRail or similar tools for creating and managing test cases.

CI/CD Expertise : Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Automation : Strong experience in both UI and API test automation.

Cloud Testing : Familiarity with cloud platform like AWS.

Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and provide effective solutions.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
