ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design and build scalable REST APIs.

- Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy web services

- NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra) is added advantage

- Work with the product team to build innovative, robust, and easy-to-use features

- Collaborate with the team, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture

- Conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality code and standard

- Own teams output drive sprint planning & prioritize tasks

- Keep key stakeholders updated on progress, milestones and any potential slippages

- Build systems that process big data in a distributed environment

- Assist production support team with any system issues as they arise

REQUIRED SKILLS :

- 4+ years experience in Java with Spring Boot Backend development

- Skilled in Java / J2EE including frameworks like Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Security

- Experience with microservices-based architecture

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting experience.

- Good knowledge on SQL (Postgres / MySQL ), NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra), App server Knowledge (Tomcat/JBoss etc.), OSGi, REST Web Services

- Working / Usage experience of Docker, CI/CD, Multithreading, Design patterns, Java 21 and Container

- Experience with Cloud computing is an added advantage (AWS, Azure)

- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
