Job Description : QA Engineer - Functional

Shift Timings : General Shift

We are looking for a QA Engineer - Functional with proven expertise in functional and API testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze requirements, design comprehensive test cases, and ensure quality across all phases of software development. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with international clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform functional, sanity, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.

- Design and execute detailed and effective test cases/test plans based on business and technical requirements.

- Document testing processes and outcomes, identifying and reporting issues to development teams via JIRA or equivalent tools.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and QA leads, to understand requirements and ensure alignment.

- Work in an Agile environment, attending scrum meetings and contributing to sprint goals.

- Maintain and update documentation on Confluence for transparency and knowledge sharing.

- Actively participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate business use cases and requirements.

- Analyze testing results, identify potential issues, and ensure effective troubleshooting and resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in identifying defects, logging them, and driving resolution through collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.

- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools and processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
