Technical Architect - Windchill (8-12 yrs)

Position : Technical Architect

Experience : 8-15 Years

Location : Gurugram / Pune / Kolkata / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Timings : General Shift

Must Have :

- 2 years Strong in WD Solution designs & 6 yrs Customizations and Functionalities and good Communication

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the solution design for Windchill PLM implementations, upgrades, and customizations, ensuring that business requirements are met with scalable and efficient solutions.

- Design Windchill architecture for complex and large-scale systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

- Define system integration strategies for Windchill with other enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, CAD, and PLM platforms.

- Drive the customization of Windchill PLM modules, including Product Data Management (PDM), Change

- Management, BOM, and CAD Data Management to meet client-specific business requirements.

- Design and implement integrations between Windchill PLM and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, CAD), ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.

- Develop API-based solutions (REST/SOAP) and integration points for Windchill with third-party applications.

Technical Skills :

Windchill Architecture & Design :

- Strong understanding of Windchill PLM architecture, including Windchill PDMLink, Windchill Workgroup Manager, and Windchill MPMLink.

- Proven experience designing high-level Windchill solutions.

Windchill Customization & Development: Extensive experience with Windchill customization (e.g., workflows, data models, UI customization using JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

Core Java & Web Technologies: Solid experience in Core Java, including integration with Windchill's Java API.

- Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., JSP, RESTful services).

System Integrations: Proficient in Windchill integration with external systems like CAD (Creo, CATIA), ERP (SAP, Oracle), CRM, and other enterprise applications.

Cloud Technologies (Optional): Exposure to cloud-based Windchill solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Data Management: Experience in data migration, data modeling, and ensuring data integrity across Windchill and integrated systems.

API Development: Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating Windchill with third-party applications.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Windchill Certified Professional (e.g., PTC Certification).

- PMP or Agile certifications.

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) in a Windchill implementation context.

- Experience working with Windchill 10.x/12.x versions and familiarity with the new features in these versions.

- Exposure to cloud computing and SaaS platforms.
