Xalts - Technical Lead Engineer - Distributed Systems (5-10 yrs)

Location : Bengaluru, India (In-Office Role)

Responsibilities :

- Lead architectural discussions, review and drive high-level and low-level designs.

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services with scalability, reliability, and performance in mind.

- Maintain high coding standards, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.

- Guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering professional growth.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Create timelines and task breakdown for product requirements provided by product and business

teams.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's Engineering Degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in developing Software.

- Proven experience in software development with minimum 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot.

- Hands on experience with Distributed Systems, Queues, AWS/Azure Cloud services, CI/CD.

- Strong knowledge of Databases like Postgresql/MongoDB/DynamoDB.

- Ability to guide architecture and technology choices based on business needs.

- Strong proficiency in Data structures, Algorithms, OOPS, and database management systems.

- Knowledge of Test-driven Development, Refactoring, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and Design

Patterns.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong desire to solving complex and interesting real-world problems.

Good to have :

- Prior experience working in large scale distributed systems at high growth startups that have

experienced challenges of scaling with the fast evolving needs of the business.

- Prior experience build/operating cloud hosted infrastructure in distributed environments for services,

managed cloud.

- Prior experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced environments.

- Experience with leading team's or driving daily engineering scrums.
