Aritha - Engineering Lead - Distributed Systems (8-10 yrs)

Position Summary :

We're seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead with strong backend and Frontend expertise to lead a cross functional team of 5-8 engineers. The ideal candidate will bring deep system architecture knowledge and technical leadership skills, with a particular focus on backend excellence while managing full-stack initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Drive backend architecture and system design decisions

- Lead implementation of critical backend services and APIs

- Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems

- Optimize system performance and scalability

- Champion code quality and technical best practices

- Actively contribute to coding and code reviews

Team Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of 5 frontend and backend engineers

- Drive sprint planning and execution

- Foster collaboration between frontend and backend developers

- Balance technical debt with feature development

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

- 8-10 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams

- Strong backend expertise Node.js, TypeScript, Microservices

- Experience with modern frontend technologies React

- Deep knowledge of database design and optimization

- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)

- Proven track record building complex distributed systems

- Strong system design and architecture skills

Preferred Experience :

- Prior startup experience with scaling engineering systems

- Knowledge of 3D/CAD systems and spatial data

- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms

- Background in real-time data processing
