Manual QA Engineer - Application Testing (0-2 yrs)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Manual QA Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing software applications manually to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and provide feedback on usability, functionality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications.

- Develop, document, and maintain test cases and test plans based on product requirements and specifications.

- Execute test cases, report defects, and track issues through their lifecycle.

- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Verify that software meets functional, performance, and usability standards.

- Work closely with developers to replicate issues, provide detailed feedback, and retest resolved issues.

- Participate in test case reviews and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

- Identify, log, and track software bugs, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.

- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

- Continuously seek to improve the QA process and contribute to overall product quality.

- Perform post-release/production testing to validate the software in a real-world environment.

Key Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.

- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

- Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, or other software platforms.

- Ability to write detailed and comprehensive test cases and plans.

- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Basic understanding of SQL and ability to execute simple queries.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and other team members.
