Experience description

• Bachelor/masters in civil engineering / Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Tekla Drafter in the steel construction industry and experience in Oil & Gas
• Expertise in creating and editing 3D models of steel structures, skids using Tekla Structures.
• Strong knowledge of detail calculations and steel structure design principles.
• Experience with connection detailing, fabrication drawings, and structural assembly drawings.
• Previous experience collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Draftsman Steel Structures:

• Develop and modify 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare detailed drawings for fabrication, assembly, and installation, including connections.
• Ensure design accuracy and compliance with industry standards (Eurocode 3).
• Conduct connection detailing and structural analysis for stability and durability.
• Performing the necessary calculations for fastening materials (such as bolts, welds, etc.).
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design challenges.
• Perform quality checks on drawings before production.
• Assist in the implementation of designs on the shop floor.
• Participate in technical discussions and project meetings.
