Position Overview: We are looking for a Compensation, Benefit and payroll specialist for the Pune office who will play a crucial role. This specialized role requires an experienced HR professional to oversee the employee compensation, benefits, and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry expertise to drive process optimization and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
He/She will be accountable for the below:
- Cost per FTE - By maintaining an efficient cost structure
- Employee Perception - Eg. Attrition rate, Glassdoor, etc.
- Labour Law Compliances

- Experience working in a Product or Product Engineering Company
- Industry knowledge in the best practices in context of our vision.
- Should have delivered a Competitive Compensation Strategy to balance the Company's PNL Strategy
- Strong Market Connect to bring in Market Intelligence.
- Maintaining the company's legal status by adhering to employee, customer, and government authority compliances and mitigating risks of legal lawsuits.
- High energy individual who is ready to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Experience in bringing outcomes and driving the above-mentioned metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Compensation Management: Develop and manage compensation structures, benefits administration and incentive programs.
- Design competitive salary structures. Develops pay bands and salary ranges based on market research, administering pay increases based on performance evaluations, Collaborate with Leadership to build consensus on the compensation and recognition strategies and utilize HR analytics to assess market trends
- Benefits Strategy: Designs comprehensive benefits packages that attract and retain talent. Designs and manages accidental insurance, Health insurance, Gratuity and retirement policy. Perks for employee satisfaction and retention. Including benefit cost and monitoring employee's utilization patterns and rate for the various benefits
- Legal and Compliance: Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, while providing guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, organizational design.
- Regularly monitor changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant. Conduct training sessions for employees and management on compliance-related topics, such as POSH and harassment and information security. Handle employee relations issues related to compliance, including conducting investigations into complaints or violations of company policy.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay and benefits
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage payroll processing, tax filings, and benefits administration
