Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and configuring network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability and security of our network infrastructure, working with ISPs, and ensuring optimal performance across all network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Configuration & Troubleshooting:

• Configure and maintain L2/L3 network switches, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
• Troubleshoot network issues related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Wi-Fi access points (APs).
• Resolve network connectivity issues and optimize network performance.

Vendor Coordination:

• Collaborate with ISP vendors for installation, troubleshooting, and resolving network-related issues.

Network Setup & Management:

• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi APs.
• Set up and manage WAN, LAN, and WLAN networks.

Firewall Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to firewalls, ensuring network security.

Certifications and Technical Knowledge:

• Apply expertise gained from industry certifications, such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), in daily tasks.
• Stay updated on new network technologies and best practices.

Communication & Vendor Management:

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely resolution of technical issues.
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Network Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they affect the system.
• Ensure the stability of the network and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations.

Problem Solving:

• Identify root causes of network problems and provide timely resolutions.
• Document network issues and resolutions for future reference.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of L2/L3 network switches, VLANs, IP subnetting, and Wi-Fi APs.
• Proficient in troubleshooting network issues across different network layers.
• Experience with WAN, LAN, and WLAN setups.
• In-depth understanding of firewall configurations and troubleshooting.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any Graduation (Preferably BE ECE, EEE, CSE, IT, BCA, B.Sc. IT)
• Experience with vendor handling and coordination.
• Experience with advanced network monitoring tools and troubleshooting software.
