Roles & Responsibilities :

- Testing : You'll design and execute various types of tests to identify bugs, defects, or any issues in software products. This includes functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, usability testing, and more.

- Test Planning : Collaborate with other team members to create test plans and strategies that outline the testing approach for different stages of development.

- Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process and increase efficiency.

- Bug Reporting : Document and report defects found during testing, providing detailed information to developers to facilitate debugging and resolution.

- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure that quality standards are met.

- Continuous Improvement : Participate in retrospectives and actively seek ways to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

- Quality Advocacy : Act as an advocate for quality within the development team, emphasizing the importance of thorough testing and adherence to quality standards.

- Release Readiness : Assess the readiness of software products for release, providing recommendations based on test results and quality metrics.

- Documentation : Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test results, and other relevant artifacts.

- Stay Updated : Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Overall, your role as a QA Engineer is crucial in ensuring that software products meet the expectations of users in terms of functionality, reliability, and performance. Through thorough testing and collaboration with other team members, you contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions.

You Must Have :

- Experience with the entire software lifecycle - requirements capture, analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance

- Minimum of 3 yrs in Manual testing and 2 yrs in Automation Testing

- Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver / Protractor

- Experience with API testing and performance testing with tools such as JMeter

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- BE/B.Tech in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering)
