Job Description

Advice and counsel stakeholders on management and employee matters including performance management, staffing & recruitment, Training, employee benefits, Hr operations and labour laws.

Strategic Business Partner

  • Providing strategic solution to the business as and when required in order to enhance organisational and employee performance.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure 100% closure of audit observations.
  • Drive quality/process improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery across

the branch.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Setting the budgets for the role based on the benchmarking activity which was done by comparing the pay scale of peer Banks. Actively participating in annual budget planning and labour forecasting.
  • Design talent acquisition strategies to meeting the hiring requirements.
  • Ensure on Time delivery of Resources as per Business requirements across levels.
  • Assisting the senior stakeholder in Job Analysis.
  • Facilitating the process of candidate selection, interviewing, job offer, background check and candidate onboarding details. Conducting induction program for new hire.

Payroll operations & HR Statutory compliance

  • Timely and error-free processing of payroll operation for permanent and contract staff in accordance with statutory guidelines. Salary processing on Finacle
  • Ensure compliance of Provident Fund, Profession Tax and HR labour laws by filling payments before the cutoff date.
  • Assist with PF/PT-Transfer, withdrawal, death claim related documentation/investigation procedure.
  • Administer group gratuity and pension scheme of the Bank.
  • Assist with PF/Pension & Gratuity claim settlements.

Benefits & Administration

  • Renewal of group medical insurance policy & annual health checkup, monitoring of CD balance and assist with claim queries and settlement, ensure timely input of addition/deletion data
  • Proactive follow-up with annual health checkup vendor in activating portal, assisting stake holders in booking appointments (online/offline)

Performance Management

  • Provide guidance to stakeholders and support in the administration of the performance management processes/ guidelines, including goal setting, self-appraisal, performance evaluation/ rating and normalization process, in close coordination with the respective OD team.
  • Timely closure of appraisal process including form submission, rating rationalization and implementation of bonus payouts/salary revisions

Staff Training, Rewards and Engagement

  • Drive a culture of innovation and learning across the Bank. Drive more robust and regular (monthly) employee engagement activities to boost staff morale and foster better team work and collaboration.
  • Preparing yearly budget staff engagement and making yearly engagement calendar.
  • Coordinate and facilitate effective deployment of Learning & Development plans through implementation of relevant in-house / external training programs through e-learning platform and/or classroom training, as applicable, in line with Bank-wide training requirements.

HR Operations

  • Ensuring timely renewal of vendor contracts, invoice processing
  • Effective and timely closure of confirmation and exit formalities (employee lifecycle)
  • Resolving employee leave and attendance queries within 24hrs time
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee MIS information and personnel files
  • Timely response to audit queries
  • Initiate new HR initiatives (Implemented change in invoicing, Joining checklist, exit checklist)
