Finance Controller

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, audit, risk management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial statements, effective internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations & Reporting:

• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely filing.
• Supervise all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and internal/statutory audit.
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory laws.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, customer invoicing, and monitoring of ageing.
• Manage cash flow planning and controlling.
• Oversee payroll processing and fixed assets accounting.
• Maintain and manage banking relationships.

2. Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance:

• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors, assessing recommendations, and implementing necessary changes.
• Establish internal process control norms and adequate checks.
• Safeguard the organizations existing assets and mitigate risks associated with new projects.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting and legal standards, as well as regulatory requirements.

3. Managing Internal & External Stakeholders:

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on key strategic initiatives and activities, including internal audit, business vertical finance, taxation, banking, and legal matters.
