Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager / AGM - Marketing & New Business Development with 18-20 years of expertise in the commercial vehicle, off-road vehicle, and heavy machinery industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong network with key OEMs and a deep understanding of the cabin industry. This role requires strategic marketing acumen, business development skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through industry partnerships and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Development & Business Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial vehicle, off-road vehicle, and heavy machinery sectors.
Strengthen and expand relationships with key OEMs, including:
- Trucks & Buses: Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Scania, Volvo, Mahindra, Kamaz, Daimler, VECV.
- Off-Road Vehicles: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Escorts, John Deere, Mahindra, Ajax Fiori, Wirtgen, Bobcat, SCHWING, Fiori, THCM, Volvo CE, SANY, L&T, Leeboy, etc.
- Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the company's market presence.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to position the company as a leader in the cabin industry.
- Create compelling brand messaging tailored to the needs of commercial and off-road vehicle manufacturers.
- Leverage digital and offline marketing channels to drive customer engagement and lead generation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
Customer Engagement & Key Account Management
- Manage and strengthen relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients, offering customized cabin solutions that meet their business needs.
- Work closely with sales, R&D, and production teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
New Product Development & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to introduce new cabin solutions.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches, ensuring competitive positioning.
- Drive customer engagement through technical presentations, workshops, and trade shows.
Performance & Revenue Growth
- Develop and manage the annual marketing and business development plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Track KPIs and ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and business growth initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- 18-20 years of experience in Marketing & Business Development within the commercial vehicle, off-road vehicle, heavy machinery, and cabin industries.
- Strong industry connections with OEMs in the Trucks & Buses and Off-Road sectors.
- Proven track record in market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the cabin industry, including design, manufacturing, and integration processes.
- Expertise in strategic marketing, branding, and digital marketing techniques.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
