Senior Database Administrator (DBA)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with expertise in managing multiple database technologies, including MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security across critical production environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Configure and maintain high availability and clustering for database servers.

2. Monitor and optimize database performance, drive space, logs, and security.

3. Develop and enforce database standards, including hardening processes.

4. Manage user access, privileges, and database security protocols.

5. Perform regular backups, recovery testing, and implement disaster recovery plans.

6. Analyze and resolve database issues, including deadlocks, in real-time.

7. Assist developers with query optimization and schema refinement.

8. Design and maintain relational and dimensional data models.

9. Create and manage reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

10. Automate recurring tasks with scripting and innovative solutions.

11. Provide 24/7 production support and on-call assistance as needed.

Qualifications :

- Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Proficiency in query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization.

- Strong understanding of database mirroring, backups, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Familiarity with SQL Server tools and database technologies.

- Proven ability to manage large-scale, high-performance database systems.
