Job Description:

We are seeking an Group Manager - Operations with 8+ years of experience in Financial Crime (KYC & Customer Due Diligence) supporting US banking or FinTech clients. The role will primarily involve managing the end-to-end CDD workflow and assessing risks related to both new and existing customers to mitigate financial risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the end-to-end CDD workflow, focusing on the assessment of risks for both new and existing customers.
• Investigate businesses that may be considered high-risk to financial institutions, ensuring compliance with applicable financial crime regulations.
• Review individual and business entities flagged by high-risk scenarios.
• Document and report investigation findings, preparing alerts for further review.
• Ensure compliance with financial crime policies and documentation, and demonstrate knowledge of basic banking terminologies.
• Keep track of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure 100% accuracy and error-free work.
• Analyze and interpret complex situations, assessing all relevant viewpoints.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory practices, including AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, and other related laws.
• Be adaptable to 24/7 shifts, especially those aligned with US timings, and be ready for work-from-office (WFO).

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate (B.Com or equivalent).
• Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in Financial Crime, specifically KYC, CDD, and EDD.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of KYC, Customer Identification Program (CIP), and CDD/EDD requirements.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical reasoning abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while ensuring accuracy.
