- Database Development : Design and implement PostgreSQL databases, schemas, and tables to meet application requirements.
- Advanced Query Writing : Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for efficient data handling.
- Database Integration : Work with backend teams to ensure smooth integration of PostgreSQL databases with applications and APIs.
- Performance Optimization : Analyze and improve query performance, indexing, and database efficiency.
- Data Migration : Assist in migrating data between PostgreSQL and other database systems with minimal downtime.
- Security Implementation : Apply security best practices, including user access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Backup and Recovery : Develop and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve database-related issues and optimize database configurations.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of database designs, configurations, and queries.
- Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications like PostgreSQL Certified Developer , PostgreSQL Administration Essentials , or equivalent.
- Experience :
- Freshers with a strong understanding of PostgreSQL concepts and hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience as a PostgreSQL Developer or in a related role is preferred.
