Job Summary
The Sponsorship Manager will play a pivotal role in developing, negotiating, and managing sponsorship agreements to drive revenue and create value for both the organization and its sponsors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills to establish strong partnerships with businesses and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing sponsorship deals and maintaining long-term relationships.

Sponsorship Acquisition and Management:
- Identify, research, and approach potential sponsors that align with the organization's mission and goals.
- Develop customized sponsorship proposals and presentations to attract and secure high-value partners.
- Negotiate sponsorship contracts, ensuring mutual benefits and adherence to terms.

Strategic Planning:
- Design and implement sponsorship strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for sponsorship.

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all sponsorship-related inquiries and collaborations.

Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, events, and finance, to deliver sponsorship obligations.
- Coordinate sponsor activation during events or campaigns, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sponsorship performance and ROI to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of sponsor commitments and deliverables.
Ability to identify, analyze, and pursue sponsorship opportunities effectively.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to pitch proposals and negotiate contracts.
Strong understanding of the sponsorship landscape, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Proven experience in managing multiple sponsorships and deadlines simultaneously.
Capability to assess sponsorship ROI and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Familiarity with CRM tools, sponsorship platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field. A master s degree is a plus.
Experience:
- 3-7 years of experience in sponsorship management, business development, or a similar role.
- Proven success in acquiring and managing sponsorship deals worth significant value.
Additional Qualifications:
- Certification in Sales or Marketing (e. g. , Google Digital Marketing, HubSpot Inbound Sales) is advantageous.
- Previous experience in event management, media, or sports sponsorship will be a plus.
