Administrator for BigFix infrastructures

Experience - 4 To 5 Years.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrator for HCL BigFix infrastructures - Mandatory skills -BigFix server , Big fix OSD , BigFix deployment

• Develop and deploy software packages, patches and updates across servers and endpoints.
• Monitor and optimize BigFix performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to patching, compliance, and deployments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and ensure systems are patched in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Develop custom BigFix fixlets and scripts for automation and advanced patching.
• Perform health checks, upgrades, and routine maintenance of BigFix systems.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and risks.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track compliance and deployment metrics.
• Document technical processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills:

• Extensive expertise in HCL BigFix administration, including design, deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, or Batch scripting.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience in vulnerability management, compliance reporting, and patch management across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to design and implement effective BigFix policies, workflows, and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices for effective service management.
• Good communication and documentation skills for creating detailed reports and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Should be HCL BigFix Certified
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune would be an added advantage.
• Experience with on-prem / cloud-based endpoint management solutions.
• Familiarity with third-party patching tools and integrations.
