We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain our on-premises Windows-based IT infrastructure

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, and distributed file servers

This role is critical to ensuring the seamless operation of our IT environment.

Experience:10 to 16 years

Location :Bangalore || Pune

Key Responsibilities:

Windows Server Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems.

Perform regular updates, patch management, and system backups.

Monitor and optimize server performance to ensure high availability.

Active Directory Management:

Configure and manage On-Premises Windows Active Directory (AD) environments.

Implement and manage group policies (GPO) for security and compliance.

Perform regular AD audits and maintain domain controllers.

Domain Controllers & DNS Management:

Install, configure, and manage domain controllers.

Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues.

Ensure proper name resolution across the network.

Distributed File Server Administration:

Configure and manage distributed file servers and shared drives.

Monitor storage capacity and ensure proper access controls.

Implement redundancy and disaster recovery solutions for file systems.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with IT policies and standards.

Perform security patching, system hardening, and vulnerability assessments.

Collaborate with the security team to mitigate risks and implement secure practices.

Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure-related issues.

Identify and resolve system failures, performance bottlenecks, and network issues.

Work with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
