The CIO Advisory business unit is part of Wipro’s Consulting division where we address enterprise CIO’s business challenges with guidance around key areas such as Enterprise Architecture & Strategy; Cloud Strategy & Advisory; Process & Program Transformation; and Technology Business Management. We are the front-end and tip of the spear when translating business problems into innovative and disruptive solutions.

Responsibilities

Drive business growth for CIO Advisory Domain and Consulting Practice in the region.

Lead design, transformation, optimization, and delivery across multiple industries

Demonstrate expertise and business acumen in working with a client journey supporting various CIO agendas. Establish credibility as trusted advisor in providing services such as Target Enterprise Architecture Definition, Cloud Strategy/Advisory, IT Strategy, TBM/FinOps and other critical CIO advisory topics.

Build, nurture and maintain strategic C-level relationships within existing and new Fortune500 clients.

Stay ahead and look for new and innovative future industry concepts to address client’s long term business objectives

Partner with other Wipro business units and develop strong relationships to build your own internal eco-system, enabling pull through from CIO Advisory services into large scale transformational journeys.
This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas:

Consulting capabilities across CIO Advisory in the region

CIO Advisory offerings we provide to our customers are:IT spend optimization, simplification and modernization of IT assets, IT governance transformation and driving business IT alignment

Industry knowledge –deep sector knowledge of the multiple industries (including Oil & Gas), familiar with the industry terms and able to communicate with other subject matter experts about industry specific practices.

Attributes we are seeking

15+ years’ experience in IT Services with 5 years as an Enterprise Architect, Strategic Advisor in a client-facing consulting role

Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits

Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Alfabet, LeanIX, Abacus, or similar

Exposure and development of next generation architecture services, modernization approaches, cloud adoption and thought leadership is highly desirable e.g. microservices architecture, container based ecosystems, cloud native architecture, event based architecture

Proven track record of generating consulting business from new and existing accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multimillion-dollar engagements.

Experience in account planning, business development strategies and participating in large integrated deals.

Experience in Oil & Gas industry preferred

Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship building and networking skills on the client side, ecosystem partners and internal organisation

Creative, collaborative, and motivating consulting practice leader who can focus diverse teams on common outcomes and goals

Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and pragmatic approach, together with a strong desire to learn and shape your own career path

Gravitas to engage and grow relationships with senior business and IT clients/leaders
