Sr. Manager - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description Summary The SQA Manager will lead a team of QA engineers, developing and maintaining test automation suites using tools like Playwright and BrowserStack. They will ensure comprehensive testing across multiple browsers and devices, focusing on web applications built with Angular, React, and web components using Lit Element or similar technologies.

The role involves implementing internationalization and localization testing strategies, conducting accessibility testing, and optimizing test scripts for performance. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, and a deep understanding of browser internals and the DOM structure. • Design, develop, and maintain test automation suites using Playwright and other tools.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testing needs.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications (Angular, React).
• Ensure thorough testing across multiple browsers and devices using BrowserStack.
• Implement and manage internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) testing strategies.
• Conduct accessibility testing to ensure compliance with WCAG standards.
• Design and execute performance and scalability tests.
• Maintain a deep understanding of browser internals and the DOM structure.
• Optimize test scripts for performance and maintainability.
• Communicate test automation issues, progress, and challenges to stakeholders.
• Document test cases, results, and defects.
• Stay updated with the latest test automation tools and best practices.
• Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 15 years+ of experience

• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS.
• Expertise in Angular and React frameworks.
• Proficiency in Playwright and BrowserStack.
