SAP Basis Consultant - ECC Module (7-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- SAP BASIS with Upgrade Experience 7+ Years ( Hybrid). Company Name : WillWare Technologies. Work Model : Hybrid / Fulltime. Work Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad / Vijayawada / Chennai. Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, including technical preparation, execution, and post-upgrade activities. -

- Perform system analysis and impact assessments for upgrade projects.

- Develop and maintain upgrade documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and cutover plans. -

-Troubleshoot and resolve upgrade-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime. -

- Perform post-upgrade performance tuning and optimization.

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW). -

- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning. -

- Manage SAP security, including user administration and authorization. -

- Perform database administration (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server). -

- Implement and maintain SAP transport management systems.

- Perform client copies, system refreshes, and backups.

- Perform database administration tasks, including backups, restores, performance tuning, and monitoring. -

- Manage database space, logs, and parameters.

- Troubleshoot database-related issues.

- Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks.

- Implement performance tuning measures to optimize system performance. -

- Perform workload analysis and capacity planning.

- Provide technical support for SAP system issues and incidents. -

- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.

- Manage and resolve incidents according to SLAs.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. -

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for team members and end-users.

- Maintain up to date knowledge of current SAP Basis best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure - teams. -

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP system upgrades.

- Extensive experience with SAP system upgrades (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).

- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture and administration.

- Experience with database administration (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).

- Proficiency in SAP transport management and client administration.

- Experience with SAP performance tuning and monitoring.

- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts.

- Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Understanding of cloud based SAP deployments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certifications (SAP Certified Technology Associate).

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager.

- Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with SAP HANA administration.

- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5.
