SAP Basis Administrator - E2E Implementation (5-7 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and other SAP applications.

- Administer, monitor, and optimize databases such as HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Perform system upgrades, patching, and support package implementation.

- Manage SAP system copies, migrations, and backup/recovery strategies.

- Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues, applying necessary fixes.

- Ensure compliance with security policies, including user administration, role management, and authorization controls.

- Troubleshoot SAP Basis-related issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems.

- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

- Implement automation and optimization strategies to improve SAP system operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration and database management.

- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, installations, upgrades, and migrations.

- Expertise in database administration (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2).

- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

- Familiarity with SAP security concepts, authorization management, and compliance.

- Knowledge of high-availability solutions and disaster recovery strategies.

- Proficiency in SAP transport management, backup/recovery, and change management processes.

- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- SAP Certification in Basis or HANA Administration.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for monitoring and diagnostics.

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.

- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and automation tools
